Guilty Ones
The Guilty Ones started as a group of fans in New York who loved the SPRING AWAKENING so much, they felt the need to organize and spread the word on their own. As SPRING AWAKENING launches its first national tour, Hennepin Theatre Trust will follow in the original Guilty One’s footsteps and organize the Charlotte Guilty Ones as our official street team of guerilla marketers.
The Deeds
HOW MUCH TIME IS REQUIRED OF A GUILTY ONE?
Your involvement with The Guilty Ones can include as little or as much as you want to do. We operate on a points system. The more you do to promote the show, the more points you will accrue and the better the opportunities you receive will be.
THE DEEDS
• Posting a MySpace bulletin or Facebook wall- 20 points per post
• Placement of flyers- 50 points per location
• Handing out flyers- 50 points per hour
• MySpace Banner- 10 points per page posted
• Putting up a poster- 40 points per poster
• Recruiting a Fellow Guilty One- 50 points
• Attending Guilty Ones Meeting- 50 points
• Posting a blog about the show- 25-50 points
• Becoming Facebook and MySpace fans of The North Carolina Blumenthal Performing Arts Center- 20 points
• Becoming a Facebook and/or MySpace fan of Gulity Ones: Charlotte—20 ponts
• Wearing Spring Awakening shirt in public (photo proof required) – 50 points per time
• Booth at school- 200 points per hour
• Writing an article/letter to the editor of a local/ school newspaper- 50-200 points
• Get a group of 10 or more to purchase tickets- 50 points per group
EVENTS
• Flyering/distributing Spring Awakening flyers at an approved* event, concert or theatrical performance- 50 points per hour, plus 20 points for suggesting event
*Events must be approved by Mary Kathryn or Danny in advance
SPECIAL PROJECTS
Are you good at singing, drawing, dancing, taking photos or YouTubing?
Use some of those talents to come up with a unique way to promote Spring Awakening and earn extra points! We are VERY flexible and will recognize you efforts! But we do need to approve the deed in advance.
