RENT is the classic musical about love, friendship and community, and the seventh longest-running show in Broadway history. Now, RENT returns to Charlotte in a new touring production starring original Broadway cast members Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp!
Over the course of its groundbreaking 12-year New York run, RENT transformed the definition of musical theater -- and changed Broadway forever. Set in NYC's East Village, RENT is a modern take on the classic Puccini opera, La Boheme. It tells the unforgettable story of a group of young artists learning to survive, falling in love, finding their voices and living for today.

Seats in the front row of the orchestra (23 seats total per show) will be made available for $20 for every performance of Rent via day-of-show lotteries.
Each day, beginning 2½ hours prior to show time, lottery participants may enter their names into the drawing for the upcoming performance. You must come in person to Ovens Auditorium box office (2700 E. Independence Blvd.) to enter. Entry closes two hours prior to curtain with winners drawn immediately after entry ends. You must be present when your name is drawn to win (valid identification required) and you must purchase your seats immediately. Each winner drawn may purchase a maximum of two tickets at $20 each, cash only.
The Ovens parking lots will be open for lottery participants starting three hours before curtain and there will be no charge for parking. Please identify yourself as a lottery participant to the lot attendant.
